The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Former twice unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's largest financial successes, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As both boxers met for the traditional stare-down, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really proceeding.
